CAW Assessment Exam Overview
WOW Academy offers the CAW assessment exam which helps determine the current skill level of a student seeking CAW certification. Since students have various levels of self training, students are encouraged to take this assessment exam first to determine on which courses and topics you will want to focus on. Some advanced students may find they are ready to take the official CAW certification exam now. Once you have completed your training you are encouraged to practice with the CAW assessment exam to sharpen your webmaster skills until you feel you are ready to take the Official CAW certification exam. Each time you attempt the CAW assessment exam you will be presented with a new set of randomly selected questions similar to those found on the official CAW certification exam.

Taking the CAW Assessment Exam
The CAW assessment exam can be purchased via WOW Academy and then attempted online at any time.

CAW Assessment Exam Cost
The CAW assessment exam is $10 for students taking WOW Academy courses and $20 for those not taking WOW Academy courses.

CAW Assessment Exam Specifics
The CAW assessment exam contains 64 questions. Examinees have 90 minutes to complete the exam. Examinees scoring 70% have demonstrated that they have the skills needed to pass the official CAW certification exam. No certification is awarded for receiving a passing score on the CAW assessment exam.

Examination Description
The examinee selects, from four (4) or more response options, the option(s) that best complete(s) the statement or answer(s) the question. Distractors or wrong answers are response options that examinees with incomplete knowledge or skill would likely choose, but are generally plausible responses fitting into the content area. Test item formats used in this examination are:

Multiple-choice : The examinee selects one option that best answers the question or completes a statement.
Multiple-response : The examinee selects more than one option that best answers the question or completes a statement.
Sample Directions : Read the statement or question and, from the response options, select only the option(s) that represent(s) the most correct or best answer(s).
